The TEXTILE ARTS FORUM (TAF) was one of the early places for textile artists and crafters to exchange ideas and facts on the Internet before the advent of the Worldwide Web. It was opened in 1994 by Susan Druding as a gathering place for textile lovers.
For a time (1994-1997), TAF was a busy place on Delphi (now Delphi Forums) with hundreds of members talking about spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, lace, tatting and more. We had a great time and sometimes met at textile conferences.
