The afternoon was sunny and peopled gathered outside on the cafe's terrace.

A guitar player in a tie-dyed tee shirt strummed 60s tunes. |
|
|
More people visited inside the cafe.
When the speakers began everyone moved inside to hear.
|
|
| Below,
various
members of the press covered the event. Helen Nestor, photographer of many
of the events of the 60-70s in Berkeley is shown here seated. Her famous
photo of Sproul Hall with the F-S-M Banners hanging from the 2nd floor
front during the Sit-In is one of the photos used in the huge wall mural
in the FSM Cafe.
