This quilt is for a baby quilt using 6" blocks: Nine Patch blocks and 2 different paper pieced Sailboat Blocks (make 9 sailboat blocks total). With a couple borders added, it would be larger for a lap quilt. It would be a fine design for a full sized bed quilt, too.
The pattern will be put up in several parts, this first will give you one of the 2 paper pieced sail boat blocks. The next will give you the other sailboat block and in the next I'll include the making of the 9 patch blocks and assembling the quilt.
Experienced quilters will be able to move right into the nine patch blocks without my instructions.
Sailboat Block #1 (with 2 sails) (Block
for Sailboat #2 with one sail is here)
You will make two versions, one sailing in one direction and one in the other.
But, the block is the same, just a mirror image. I'll be giving you both
templates for paper piecing. All these sailboat blocks are adapted from
Electric Quilt 5 and EQ5 was used to
generate the template

Paper foundation pieced (PFP) Sailboat Pattern is HERE and reversed is HERE.
