Materials:
Crystal Palace Waikiki 9 (10, 12, 13, 14); 50 gr. balls
Color # 432 "strawberries-limes".

Needles: Crystal Palace Bamboo or CPY DAISY Needles US size 8 (5mm) and 7 (4.5mm) straight; OR size needed to obtain gauge. May be worked back and forth on circular needles.

Gauge:
15 ½ sts = 4” in Little Leaf Stripe on size 8 (5mm) needles. Blocked.
17 sts = 4” in Little Leaf Stripe on size 7 (4.5mm) needles. Blocked.

Abbreviations: BO- bind off; CO-cast on; k-knit; k2tog-knit 2 stitches together; psso-pass slip stitch over; p-purl; rep-repeat; RS-right side; sl 1-slip one stitch as if to purl; ssk-slip, slip, knit 2tog’ st(s)-stitch (es); WS-wrong side; yo-yarn over.

Back and Front: (make 2)
Using size 8 (5 mm) needles, CO 73 (81, 89, 97, 105) sts. Knit 2 rows then begin lace pattern as follows:

Little Leaf Stripe (multiple of 8 plus 1)
Row 1 & 3 (WS): Purl
Row 2 (RS): K1, * k2tog, yo, k3, yo, ssk, k1; rep from *
Row 4: K3, * yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, k5; rep from * to last 6 sts, end *yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, k3. Repeat Rows 1-4 until piece measures 4 (4 ½, 4 ½, 4 ½, 5) ”.
Change to size 7 (4.5 mm) needles, continue to repeat rows 1-4 until piece measures 13 ½ (14, 14 ½, 14 ½, 14 ½)”; OR desired length to underarm, from CO edge. Mark beginning and end of row for armhole.
Work until armhole measures 8 (8 ½, 9, 9½, 10 ½)”.
Total piece measures 22 (22-½,23-½,24,25)" from Cast On edge.
Bind off. Repeat for 2nd piece.

Sleeves (make 2)
Using size 8 needles CO 65 (65, 73, 73, 81) sts. Knit 2 rows. Work even in pattern for 5”. Change to size 7 needle, continue to work in pattern until sleeve measures 16 (16 ½, 17, 17, 17)” end after working RS row. Purl 1 row increasing 0 (8, 4, 8, 8) sts evenly across last row.
[65 (73, 77, 81, 89)] sts. Bind off loosely.

Finishing
Block all pieces. Sew front and back together at shoulders, leaving center 7 (7 ½, 8, 8 ½, 9)” open for neck. Center sleeve top to shoulder seam, sew sleeve top to Armhole between markers, easing or slightly stretching to fit armhole. Sew side and sleeve seams. Work in all ends.
