Named for one of the active volcanoes on the Big Island of
Hawaii, this sock erupts with its own little volcanoes around the leg and down
the instep. The pattern is uni-sex and will work with both plain and variegated
yarns. The pattern can easily be modified for a smaller or larger sock by
decreasing or increasing the number of stitches in multiples of 10 to desired
size or by changing needle size to obtain a different gauge.
