Designed and Knit by Kyle Ann Williams
for Crystal Palace Yarns

Size:
Women's Med (Model knit for Women's size nine U.S. and was knit 8" from beg of toe to beginning of heel.)

Materials:
2-50 gr balls Crystal Palace Panda Superwash (51% Bamboo, 39% Superwash Wool, 10% Nylon) (Model knit in #2004 ‘Mint Print')
Crystal Palace Bamboo Circular Knitting Needles in Size 1 (2.25 mm) - two 24" or one 40" if doing Magic Loop method

Gauge
(Stockinette St): 8 sts/11.5 rows = 1" (32 sts/46ts = 4" or 10 cm)

Special Stitches
C4F = Cable 4 Front. Slip next 2 sts to a cable needle or toothpick and hold in front of the work, knit the next 2 sts, then knit the sts from the cable needle.
MM1 (Modified Make 1) = With LEFT needle tip, pick up sts between last st on rt needle and 1st st on left needle. Do not transfer this st to the right needle - it will be knit together with the next st

Twist Pattern:
Rnds 1 & 2: Knit
Rnd 3: *K4, C4F, rep from * around
Rnds 4-6: Knit
Rnd 7: *C4F, K4, rep from * around
Rnd 8: Knit

Directions:
Using figure-8 method and 2 circs held close together, cast on 32 sts (16 on each needle). (Note: If you are not familiar with this cast-on method, just search the internet. There are several sites with great pictures demonstrating this method).
Rnd 1: Knit
Rnd 2: K1, m1, k to last st on needle, m1, k1; rep on 2nd needle
Rep these 2 rounds until there are 72 sts (36 on each needle)

Foot: Continue knitting in the round until foot measures approximately 2" (5 cm) less than desired length.

Cuff: Work K2, P2 ribbing for approximately 1.5" (4 cm)

Bind off loosely (I prefer to bind off with a needle at least one size larger).
Finish off. Weave in ends.
