Back: With smaller sized needles, cast on 64(64,68) sts. Work in ribbing for 2.5". Change to larger sized needles and St st, increasing 4(6,6) sts evenly across row. Work even on 68(70,74) sts until 24"(25",26") from the beginning. Bind off all sts.

Front: Cast on and work ribbing same as for back. Work even in St st until 7 (7.5,8)" from the beginning. Start V-neck shaping. Work half the sts in the row, attach a second ball of yarn and work the remaining half of sts.
Working each side separately, at each neck edge, dec 1 st every other row 4 times, then every 4 rows, 14(15,16) times. Work even on 16(16,17) sts until same length as the back. Bind off all sts for shoulders.

Sleeves: With smaller sized needles, cast on 24(28,32) sts. Work in ribbing for 2-1/2". Change to larger sized needles and St st, increasing 6 sts evenly across row, 30(34,38) sts. To shape the sleeve underarms, inc 1 st at each edge, every 4 rows, 16 times, 62(66,70) sts. Work even until 19.5 (20.5, 21.5)" from the beginning. Bind off all sts loosely for the top of the sleeves. Mark the center of the top of the sleeve.

Finishing: Sew shoulder seams. With smaller sized circular needles, pick up and knit sts around neck edges. Work in ribbing for 2", decreasing 1 st every row, each side of the center st of the V-neck. Bind off all sts loosely. Match the centers of the sleeve tops to the shoulder seams and sew sleeve to front and back. Sew the side and sleeve seams.
