This is a festive sweater for the holidays that doesnt resort to cutesy clichιs. The velvety look of this soft springy yarn is a perfect foil for the sparkle of beads. Picture it in red Meringue with gold beads, too? Or make it for non-holiday wear with other beaded motif or without beads.
Materials:
Yarn: 8 (9, 10, 12, 13) 50 gr balls
Crystal Palace Meringue (40%
Merino Wool, 40% Acrylic, 20% Elastic Nylon, 123 yds)
Model Shown in Color #4107 Blue
Needles: 16 circular size 8 needle and size 10 straight or circular
needle or correct size to obtain gauge
Beads: 6 mm round beads 39 for Tree, 66 for Star, 66 for Snowflake
Finished Measurements:
Chest circumference: 36 (40, 44, 48, 52)
Length: 23 (24, 24, 25,
25)
Gauge:
4 sts = 1 and 6 rows = 1 in stockinette stitch on size 10 needles
