There are many other good color combinations possible with
Tingle and Deco-Ribbon.
Materials:
1-50 gr. ball of Tingle (here color
9012, Fiesta Tweed )
1-50 gr. ball of Deco-Ribbon
(here color 106, red/black)
1 pair CPY Bamboo Needles, size 15
The entire scarf is knit in garter st (all rows knit).
To knit scarf (all in garter stitch, knit all rows):
Loosely cast on 15 sts with Deco-Ribbon. Knit 3 rows.
Connect Tingle and knit 4 rows.
Connect Deco-Ribbon, knit 6 rows,
Change back and forth from Deco-Ribbon to Tingle alternating 4 rows of
Tingle and 6 rows of Deco-Ribbon until you run out of yarn.
Ending with 3 rows of Deco-Ribbon, bind off loosely.

[Tip: I just ran the yarns up the side of
the scarf as I changed from Tingle to Deco-Ribbon and back. The yarn is
not obvious and this is much easier than breaking off the yarn each time.]
