Tingle + Deco-Ribbon Knit Lengthwise Scarf
Easy & Fast to Knit with one ball Tingle and 2 balls Deco-RibbonThere are many good color combinations possible with Tingle and Deco-Ribbon. This scarf uses two of the "fruity" colors of Deco-Ribbon and a coordinating color of Tingle.
Materials:
1-50 gr. ball of Tingle (here color 3866, Sunset Tweed)
2 -50 gr. balls of Deco-Ribbon (1 ea: 9235-lemonade & 9234-orangeade)26" CPY Circular Bamboo, size 15 needles
The entire scarf is knit in garter st (all rows knit) lengthwise on circular needles.
To knit scarf (all in garter stitch, knit all rows):
Loosely cast on 120 sts with Deco-Ribbon 9234. Knit 3 rows.
Connect Tingle 3866 and knit 2 rows.
Connect Deco-Ribbon 9235, knit 2 rows, pick up Deco-Ribbon 9234, knit 2 rows, return to Deco-Ribbon 9235, knit 2 rows.
Connect Tingle and knit 2 rows.
Connect Deco-Ribbon 9234, knit 2 rows, pick up Deco-Ribbon 9235, knit 2 rows, return to Deco-Ribbon 9234 and knit 2 rows.
Continue alternating 2 rows of Tingle and 6 rows of Deco-Ribbon until you have 4 sets of rows of Tingle.
Finish with knitting 3 rows of Deco-Ribbon in 9235 and then cast off VERY loosely.You will have a little yarn left over - I decided not to add a fringe to this scarf since it had so much texture on its own, but add one if you wish.
