Here it is combined with FIZZ
eyelash yarn in
a free knitting pattern
Splash - Fizz Scarf
finished size 5.5" x 64"
Materials: 1 ball Splash - 85 yds/100 gr,
1
ball Fizz - 120 yds/50 gr.
(colors here are Splash: "Cool Jazz" #7178 and Fizz "Neon Green" #7306)
Size 15, 9" SP Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles
Holding both Splash and Fizz eyelash yarns together,
Cast on loosely 18 stitches with size 15 USA needles.
Rows 1-4: Knit with both yarns tog in garter st (knit every row)
Rows 5-6: Knit with just Fizz alone.
Continue these 6 rows until you run out of yarn, end with Rows 1-4 (yarn
doubled).
Cast off loosely.
(Note from Susan: By using Fizz for the 2
rows alone,
it allows for a longer scarf with a lighter, more interesting texture and look.
My scarf was over 5 ft long and 5.5" wide,
but if you wish a wider, shorter scarf - just cast on 22-24 sts.)
