is a quick knit project. Wear in chilly air conditioning at the office or as a
light layer for a walk on a cool evening.

This yarn is soft, warm and machine washable for easy care.
Materials:
4 Balls of
Crystal Palace
Puffin
Size 15
Crystal Palace Bamboo or
Daisy
16 inch circular needles
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends
3 Large Buttons to go with your color choice
Gauge:
2 ½ sts per inch
Abbreviations:
K= knit; P= Purl; PM= Place Marker; YO= Yarn Over; Sts= Stitches; P2tog= Purl 2
Sts together
Directions:
Cast On 10 Sts.
Row 1: K 1, YO, PM, K 8, PM, YO, K 1 turn.
Row 2 and all even rows: P all Sts, turn.
Row 3: K 2, YO, Slip Marker, K 8, Slip Marker, YO, K 2 turn.
Row 5: K 3, YO, Slip Marker, K 8, Slip marker, YO, K3, Turn.
Continue in this manner adding one stitch to the count each side of the markers
on every odd row until you have a total of 78 Sts.
Next row: P across all Sts, turn.
Next row: K to first marker then Bind off the next 8 sts for back of
neck, K to end of row, turn.
Next row: Purl across first half of the front Sts. Join another ball of
yarn for the other half of the sts for the front and Purl to end.
Continue working in Stockinet St for the next 15 rows. End on a K row.
Next Row: P across first section of front, Next section, P 15 Sts, *wrap
the yarn around the needle 3 times (triple YO) P 8*,Repeat this step two more
times, ending with a P 4.
Next row: *K to the triple YO, K the first loop and drop the other two
loops*, repeat this two more times and finish in Stockinet St.
Work two rows of Stockinet St then bind off all Sts.
Weave in ends and sew on buttons.
