A Free Crocheted Scarf Pattern that uses 2 balls of Mini Mochi This scarf is soft and light. The color changes are all in the yarn. A rainbow of color to wear around your neck. Materials Size: 5 x 62" Beginning block: Ch 6 loosely, turn. Block: Sl st into ch-3 space of next block, Decreasing Block: Ch 1, turn. Sl st across Start pattern Work beginning block, flip work up, sl st into ch-3 space of previous row, ch 3, 3 dc in same space. Sl st into space under ch-3 space of next block, ch 3, make block as before. Continue in this manner, increasing one block on each row to 7 blocks along both straight sides and on the diagonal. Next row: Work decreasing block,
make blocks to end (7 blocks made). Make a second piece in the same manner,. Do not fasten off. Join at center back as follows: Place right sides together (the stripe colors will probably not match - this is the nature of the yarn). Sl st thru st at edge of each piece, joining them together. *Ch 3, sl st in space between next 2 blocks* joining both halves of scarf. Do not fasten off. Edging: Ch 2, hdc into space between next 2 blocks, ch 3, *3 dc into space under hdc just made, hdc into space between next 2 blocks.* Repeat between * all around. Last Point: Ch 3 and work 2 dc in space under hdc, join with sl st to top of beg ch 3. Fasten off.
