Splash + Squiggle
Scarf - 2 hour scarf
Fast and Fun to Knit on size 17 needles
Makes a very long scarf - over 8 feet
One ball Splash eyelash
& one ball Squiggle spaced-eyelash
I've been having fun knitting these scarves! I've already made
3 and have another started. I'm a fairly fast knitter and I can make one of
these in 1.5 hours. So, I'm calling it a Two Hour scarf for most and perhaps 3
hours for beginning knitters. The size 17 needles make the stitches go fast,
but the pairing of the two eyelash yarns means you don't have big holes in
your scarf.
Materials:
1-100 gr. ball of
Splash eyelash
1-50 gr. ball of Squiggle
spaced-eyelash
This scarf at right uses Splash #7192 (Italian ice)
with Squiggle #9210
(fern mix)
9" CPY Bamboo, size
17 needles
The entire scarf is knit in garter st with yarn held
double throughout.
To knit scarf (all in garter stitch, knit all rows):
Loosely cast on 10 sts with yarns held double on size 17 needles.
Knit until you run out of yarn. Cast off loosely.
[See, we told you this one is EASY!]
