Note: Due to the openness and drape of stitch pattern, this top has a lot of give in width when worn. Model is size medium with 1/2 length sleeve. Pattern has an option for a shorter cap sleeve and length sleeve.

Materials:
Crystal Palace Party Ribbon: 7 (8) (9) (10) (12) 87yds/50gr balls; color used in sample #203, celery green. Allow 1 extra skein if making length sleeve.
Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles or Daisy Needles: size 10 (6mm); OR size to obtain gauge.
Size G Crystal Palace Bamboo Crochet Hook
Spray Bottle, Pins for Blocking

Abbreviations:
Beg-beginning; BO-bind off; CO-cast on, cont-continue; Dec-decrease; K- knit; K2tog- knit 2 stitches together; patt-pattern; p2tog-purl 2 together; SSK- slip 2 stitches one at a time as if to knit, place tip of left needle through the front of these 2 stitches and knit together from this position; Rem- remaining; Rep-repeat; RS-right side; Sts-stitches; WS- wrong side; YO-yarn over

Gauge:
14 sts = 4 inches, 20 rows= 4 inches, blocked measurements in Feather St patt. Be sure to make a gauge swatch, block and measure on flat surface.

Armhole Shaping:

BO 7 sts at the beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st at each end as follows: SSK, work in pattern to last 2 sts, k2tog; rep Dec row every row 4 (RS), 0 (2) (3) (4) (6) (7) times 46 (49) (54) (59) (62) (65) sts remain. Note: Incorporate Decreased sts into pattern, discontinue YO if there is less than 2 sts between YO and edge.
Cont to work pattern rows as established until armhole measures 7.5 (8) (8) (8.5) (9) (9.5) " from armhole bind off, ending with WS row. BO 46 (49) (54) (59) (62) (65) sts. Mark 1st and last 12 (13) (14) (15) (16) (16) sts for shoulder seam.

Front:
Work same as back to until armhole measures 4.5 (5) (5) (5.5) (6) (6.5)" from armhole BO.
Shape Neck:

Working both sides at once, continuing in pattern, work 12 (13) (14) (15) (16) (16) sts, join a 2nd ball of yarn, BO 22 (23) (26) (29) (30) (33) sts, work 12 (13) (14) (15) (16) (16) sts. Work even in patt until armhole measures 7.5 (8) (8) (8.5) (9) (9.5)". BO 12 (13) (14) (15) (16) (16) sts.

Sleeves: (Make 2)

Finishing:
Block by spraying with water and pinning pieces out to measurements, let dry completely. Seam shoulders. Set sleeve into armhole. Sew side and sleeve seams. Work in ends.

Neckline Trim:
Using Crochet hook, beg at left shoulder, work 1 round slip st around entire neckline. Join to beg of round. Fasten off. Work in end.
