Yarns used: Deco-Ribbon and Fizz

Deco-Ribbon color #106, red/black stripe and Fizz color #7128, flame

Materials: 1 pair 9" Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles size 9
1 ball of Deco-Ribbon
1 partial ball of Fizz

Loop Stitch
Yarn is wrapped clockwise around left thumb to form the loops
Row 1: K1, *(k1 and leave st on left needle, YF, wrap yarn clockwise around left thumb to form loop, YB, knit into the back of this same st), k1; repeat from *
Row 2: P1, *p2tog, p1; repeat from *
Row 3: K2, *(k1 and leave st on left needle, YF, wrap yarn clockwise around left thumb to form loop, YB, knit into the back of this same st), k1; repeat from * end with k2
Row 4: P2, *p2tog, p1; repeat from *, end row with p2.

Cast on 23 sts with Deco-Ribbon.
Knit one row.
Add strand of Fizz and holding Deco-Ribbon and Fizz together, begin Loop St pattern.
Work 8 rows of Loop St (that is repeating the 4 rows of Loop St twice)

Drop the Fizz and continue in St st with Deco-Ribbon for 4 inches or as desired for height of bag.
Knit 3 rows of rev. St st (p1 row, k1 row, p1 row) so that purl side is outside on same side as Loops.
Return to St st and knit for 4 inches or as desired for height of bag.
Work 8 more rows of Loop Stitch holding Deco-Ribbon and Fizz together.

Cast off loosely with Deco-Ribbon.

With a large eyed tapestry needle sew the 2 sides of the bag on the inside (note that the purl side of st st on the bottom is the outside of the bag)

I made a single twisted Deco-Ribbon handle for this little bag. If you prefer, crochet a handle, make I-cord handle or simply braid 3 strands of Deco-Ribbon.

Sew handle in place.
