Row 1: K1, YO, K10, S, K2tog, PSSO, K10, YO, K1.
Row 2: and all rows after a pattern row, knit even.
Row 3: K2, YO, K9, S, K2tog, PSSO, K9, YO, K2.

Row 9: K5, YO, K6, S, K2tog, PSSO, K6, YO, K5.
Row 11: K6, YO, K5, S, K2tog, PSSO, K5, YO, K6.
Row 13: K7, YO, K4, S, K2tog, PSSO, K4, YO, K7.
Row 15: K8, YO, K3, S, K2tog, PSSO, K3, YO, K8.
Row 17: K9, YO, K2, S, K2tog, PSSO, K2, YO, K9.
Row 19: K10, YO, K1, S, K2tog, PSSO, K1, YO, K10.
Row 21: K11, YO, S, K2tog, PSSO, YO, K11.
Knit 1 row, repeat row 21 until armhole shaping at 14“ as measured from cast on
edging at top of V of scallop, or desired length.
Armhole:
Continue center patterns, but do not continue the side patterns from row 21.
Row 1: 6 Stitches before marker, (YO, K2tog) 6 times to make eyelets.
Row 2: Work one round even.
Row 3: 6 stitches before marker, begin bind off. Bind off 12 stitches. K63, bind
off 12. There should be 63 stitches front, and 63 stitches back.
Place markers at 31 stitches for V neck shaping which you will begin
before armhole is done. Front and back are worked exactly the same. You will now
be knitting the right side and purling the wrong side.
Eyelet armhole decreases: [Note:
start V neck shaping after second armhole decrease.] Dec every right
side row 6 times by K1, K2tog, YO, K2tog, Knit to within last 5 stitches and K1,
K2tog, YO, K2tog.
Purl the wrong side row.
After the 6th decrease on armhole edge, begin non decrease rows with K1, K2tog,
YO for left sides, for the right sides, knit to within last 3 stitches, YO,
K2tog, K1. In this way the K2tog is on the outside edge of the yarn over, making
a neat, thicker border.
V neck eyelet edging: Begin this after 2nd armhole decrease, on the
right side only. At marker at neck edge split for right and left side, by SKP
the center stitch, 31 stitches on each side. Begin neck hole decreases by
working the same decreases as armhole, every right side row, 12 times, 12
stitches remain. Work even, making on decrease eyelets until armhole is 7
inches, or desired depth. Work each side in the same way, placing 12 stitches on
holder for three needle bind off after all are done, or cast off, to sew
together.
Finishing: Join using a three needle bind off, by holding right sides
of garment together put the third needle into the first stitch on the front
needle and the first stitch of the back needle, knit those two stitches
together. Repeat to second stitch and cast off the first stitch. Work in this
manner until all 12 stitches have been cast off. Or cast off and sew shoulders
together. Weave in ends.
