After the first 20 rows of the pattern are complete, Shape the armhole as
given for back and at the same time split the neck working the first 6sts of
the pattern for the left front and the second 6 sts for the right front.
Repeat rows 1-20 once and then rows 1-10. Now that the neck is split,
working the mosaic pattern can be a little tricky but with a little
concentration, it can be done. You will need to have one more MC bobbin and
1 more CC bobbin for the right side. After the mosaic pattern is finished
shape the neck. Bind off 9 sts at the neck edge the decrease 1 sts at the
neck edge every other row 4 times. When the front is the same length as the
back bind off all sts.
With MC cast on 50 (50, 50, 56, 56, 56) sts and work 1 row of K1 P1 rib. The
next row begin 20 row of Mosaic Pattern. After the Mosaic Pattern working in

cap. Bind off 3(3, 3, 3, 3,5)sts at the beginning of the next two rows,
decrease 1 st ea side 1(1, 1, 3, 3, 3)times, bind off 5 sts at the beginning
of the next 8 row, bind off remaining 12 sts.
Sew shoulders together, sew up seams and set in sleeves. With G crochet hook
chain 35 for the tie, then join to neck and work 1 row reverse single
crochet and chain 35 for the second tie.
