Materials:

60/40 wool/combed
silk
6 (8, 10) 50 gr balls,
color shown is #2021 "pale lilac"
Needles:
Crystal Palace Bamboo or
Daisy Needles, 12" or
14" SP size 8 or size to get the gauge.
Sizes:
XS, M, L
Finished Chest Measurement: 33½ (37, 45)”
[Note: sizes are based on repeat of diamond pattern.]Gauge:
26 sts and 29 rows = 4” (10 cm) over chart pattern st

Back:
CO 107 (133, 146) sts.
XS: Working first and last sts in St st, begin with Stitch 1 of chart and work Rows 1-42 2 times, ending last repeat with Stitch 1 of chart. Piece should meas approx 11½ “ from beg.
M and L: Working first and last sts in St st, begin with Stitch 14 of chart, work Rows 1-42 of chart 2 times then Rows 1-21, ending last repeat with Stitch 1 of chart. Piece should meas approx 14½” from beg.
Begin Raglan Shaping
Dec 1 st each end every row 20 (37, 36) times, then every other row 16 (10, 14) times.
Place rem 35 (39, 46) sts on holder for back of neck.Front:
Work same as Back to Raglan Shaping.
Dec 1 st each end every row 20 (41, 40) times, then ever other other 11 (3, 7) times.
Place rem 45 (52, 52) sts on holder for front of neck.Sleeves:
CO 65 (71, 77) sts.
Working in k2, p1 rib and keeping first and last st in St st, dec 1 st each end every 4th row 6 (5, 6) times, then every other row 11 (15, 17) times. Then dec 1 st at edge that will fit in Back every row 12 (10, 10) times (alternating beginning and end of row).
Place rem 19 (21, 21) sts on holder.Neck Band:
With circular needles, knit all sts from holders making sure long edge of sleeve matches Back. Join. Knit 8 rows. BO.Finishing:
Sew in sleeves. Seam sleeves and sides.
