Cotton Chenille, 100% cotton - or 5
cloths from 2 balls.
Cloth below is one shown in color #405 "crocus"

These make a great hostess gift
along with a fancy bar of soap.
Size: 7½" wide and 8" long
Gauge: 15 sts=4" in pattern stitch
Materials: Cotton Chenille
color #1405 "crocus"
Size 6 US (4.25 mm) needles
Instructions
CO 30 sts.
Work 3 rows in Seed Stitch:
Row 1: *k1, p1; rep from *
Row 2: *p1, k1; rep from * Keeping first and last 3 sts every row in Seed
Stitch,
begin Pattern Stitch (keeping outer 3 sts at each edge in Seed Stitch):
Rows 1-4: *p3, k3; rep from *
Rows 5-8: *k3, p3; rep from *
Rep Rows 1-8 until about 7½ inches from beg, ending with Row 4 or 8 completed.
Work 3 rows in Seed Stitch.
BO loosely in pattern.
