Finishing
Sew shoulder and side seams. Work garter bands around armhole and neck. Work Button and buttonhole bands. Work crochet trim or may leave plain without crochet trim if desired. Armbands:

Skirt Edge
RS facing, beg at side seam, 7 rows above CO row of lower skirt edge (row just above top of 6 row garter band), working on top of the skirt insert crochet hook through the bar between seam and first stitch; * chain 3, and work sc through the bar of next st as seen in diagram; repeat across lower edge of skirt front and back. Fasten off and work in ends.
Left armhole trim
RS facing beg at back yoke at underarm seam 5 rows from armhole edge. Work around armhole edge same as for lower edge.
Right armhole
RS facing beg at front yoke at underarm seam 5 rows from armhole edge. Work around armhole edge same as for lower edge.
