Crystal Palace Yarns

The "Five Hour Baby Sweater" has been a shared pattern floating around the internet for many years on lists, sites and blogs.

It was originally posted to the old Knit List (before the Web existed) and the story of the origin in 1950 is here: http://www.woolworks.org/patterns/5-hour.txt

A knitting guild in Michigan (Woolgatherers Knitting Guild in Plymouth, MI)
is donating sweaters to babies. They knit the below versions with yarn donated by Crystal Palace.
We are giving links below to several web sites with versions of the pattern. Most of these knitters
used the pattern on the 'yarntootin' site.

Hopefully you will want to donate sweaters, too.
This pattern is not to be used for commercial sales.
