FRONT:
Work as for back until piece measures 16(17,18)" from beg. Shape Neck: Work 23(25,27) sts, join new balls of yarn, bind off next 11(12,13) sts. Work rem 23(25,27) sts. Working each side separately, at each neck edges, dec 1 st every other row, 5 times. Work even on 18(20,22) sts each side until same length as back. Bind off all sts for shoulders.SLEEVES:
With smaller needles and one strand each of Chenille and Waikiki cast on 36(38,40) sts. Work in Garter st for 1.5", Change to larger needles and St st, inc 1 st each side, every 6 rows 5(7,9) times; then every 8 rows 3(2,1) times. Work even on 52(56,60) sts until 17(18,19)" from beg. Bind off all sts for tops of sleeves. Mark centers of tops.FINISHING:
Sew right shoulder seam. For neckband, with smaller needles, beg at left front shoulder, pick up and knit 12 sts along left front neck edge, then 11(12,13) sts from center front neck edge, then 12 sts from right front neck edge, then 21(22,23) sts across back of neck, leaving rem 18(20,22) sts free for left shoulder seam. Work in Garter st for 1.5". Bind off loosely. Sew left shoulder seam. Sew sleeve tops to armhole edges between markers, matching centers of tops of sleeves to shoulder seams. Sew side and sleeve seams.[Note: Cotton Chenille is not an elastic yarn and if using it to sew seams, do not pull tightly. Or, find a close color in a sport wool or acrylic yarn and use that to sew the seams.]
