This is a perfect little gift, tuck in jewelry, soap or
other small item.
Materials
1 - 50 gr ball Crystal Palace
Chunky Mochi

Shown here in
color #801 'intense rainbow'
1 set 8" size 10.5 double point Crystal Palace
Bamboo needles.
Gauge:
(gauge not very important) approx. 3 sts/inch
Size: bottom measures 4.5" x 4.5"
Instructions:
First make a 3-stitch I-cord
using the DP needles, 18" long.

Bag
Cast on 14 sts
Working in garter st (K all rows) work until 14 ridges are made (29 rows)
This forms the square bottom of the bag.
Pick up sts all around the remaining 3 sides of the bag using DP needles.
[56 sts]
Work 9 rounds in St st
Work 1 rounds in Rev St st (purl side out)
Work 3 rounds of St st.
Eyelet Row: *K4, YO, K2tog* repeat around bag. These form the holes for the
I-cord.
[You will have one extra st between one set of holes, it will not matter.]
Work remaining rounds as K2, P2 ribbing.
When you have about 1.5 yards of yarn left, bind off in 2-2 rib st loosely.
Thread the I-cord through the eyelet holes
and sew or tie the ends together.
